Sport and deradicalization: a proposal for an analysis and prevention model

Based on Bronfenbrenner’s (1979) ecological model, this article focuses the multidimensionality of radicalization and its relationship with community culture by observing problem social isolation. In framework, sports provide contexts in which forms collaboration are necessary, “rules game” must be embraced, there is close interaction among fellow players. These characteristics can turn organized into observatories (potential) juvenile through identifying “early warning signals” that mainly detected those conducts may reveal a potential risk. provided extensive literature review, it comes these signs traced, for instance, lack self-esteem, absence significant bonds, intolerance towards values, as well extreme introverted behaviour young subjects.
